Schwabby Please Don't Go

• I was deeply saddened to hear of the imminent retirement of Herr Klaus Schwab from his position at Chairman of the World Economic Forum. Schwab has been such a rich source of humour over these past few years; it simply is not everyday that you get a comedy Bond villain who literally wants to take over the world in such a hilarious manner. He will be missed. What do you think Schwab will do post-retirement? Rebrand himself as a dissident-right influencer? Go trans? Appear on Lex Fridman’s podcast? Or all of the above? • Talking of dissident-right influencers, I briefly came back on Twitter to find that they’re all now at war with each other over which side is more gay (tl;dr: they are all extremely gay).

• ‘Prime Minister’ of the ‘United’ ‘Kingdom’ Rishi Sunak announces a General Election (‘General Election’) while being gradually drenched by a sudden downpour, while some petty deep-state operative blasts out ‘Things Can Only Get Better’ by D-Ream, Tony Blair’s 1997 victory anthem. • Talking of Blair, he may well be in the running to take over the WEF after Schwab retires, so this little psy-op might have multiple layers of intent.

• Germany decriminalizes child pornography. Hmm, now remind me what happened the last time an insanely corrupt hyper-liberal regime took power in Germany and started breaking down all social norms? I feel like it may have had some pretty significant consequences, but I can’t quite remember what they were.
