…the trolls flock to the dim light cast by an obscure blogger out on the fringes of the internet. Must be doing something right!
This week has seen some unusually persistent activity on that regard, with one commenter using multiple sock-puppet accounts to get around my attempts at banning him, and then deleting his own comments before I could even get to them. Troller’s remorse, perhaps?
Let he who is without snark cast the first stone. I judge nobody for such attempts, as I’ve engaged in my own trolling misadventures over the years, and regrettable outbursts are easily facilitated by the disembodied nature of online communication. I do, however, operate a common-sense policy regarding inflammatory behaviour, so please don’t take my forgiving attitude towards the individual as extending to the behaviour itself.
As it happens, travel and work arrangements have meant that I have not had time to finish the next installment of my series of regular blog posts on ‘Embracing the Decline’, nor to get another episode of the Dodcast edited and ready for upload - my apologies. In the meantime, here are some recommendations from my own list of personal favourites, in no particular order:
John Michael Greer is currently writing an excellent series of pieces on the nature of enchantment in the modern world over at Ecosophia.
Blacksmith and historian Aurochs continues to publish fascinating material relating to Arthurian Britain over at Aurochs, Arthur, and the Anvil:
Edward Slavsquat’s valiant efforts to bring news of the Russian Reset to the adoring Putin-fanboys of the decadent West are ongoing, with his latest report a particularly sobering one:
Independent journalist James Corbett uncovers the history of the Great Food Reset:
Until next time, friends; waes hael!
Nice to plug Greer!
Thanks for the recommendations.
