An interesting discussion about a complex topic. I am now wary of us falling into the trap of completing the breakdown of our society for the "elites" and replacing it with individuals living together in 'communities', in case this was their plan all along. These communities don't even have to be physically close to each other in this digital age.
In effect we will be ruled by public/private partnerships using digital technology ie the ant computer. A type of communitarianism but with a modern twist ie we will be living in a metaverse where the protocol layers are set by those living in the shadows. We will just be nodes!
