Interesting! I went through Shaktipat with Swami Muktananda and despite the scandals around him later, I still respect his teachings. I think his American devotees corrupted a lot of his organization into the dominant culture (money is the only true god there is, etc.) But I left the group after 10 yrs 30 yrs ago, because neither of his successors seemed in the least interested in me, plus the above changing of the teachings. It became a "path" for the wealthy. I agree w your assessment of Ramana Maharshi, a class act.
